No. 207 – Brasseurs du Monde Nectareüs

No. 207 – Brasseurs du Monde Nectareüs

As mentioned before, somewhere and possibly a few times, Brutopia’s Honey Brown was one of the first beers I tried that wasn’t lager, stout or red ale.  This being the case, I’m always on the lookout for others…

This may be my favourite honey brown type beer so far.  It looks good, quite dark, with a foamy head that doesn’t last too long.  Taste-wise, it’s well balanced, smooth and easy to drink.  It leaves a nice taste on the tongue, a little bitter and a little sweet.  There are hints of caramel too, which I always like.

Yes, this is good.  Yes, it’s worth the price ($4 at Métro on offer).  Yes, it’s accurate.  Yes, I’d drink it again and Yes, I’d recommend it.  Finally, I’d give it another Yes for going out of my way for it.  6/11

I also like the background info on this…
